As some of you are aware, I'm installing a new phone system on the Indiana side of the Indiana and Illinois boarder this week. On my way up I saw the results of Green Energy for the first time. Massive white towers with propeller blades on them sanding over a hundred feet above what used to be beautiful rolling cornfields. I mean hey, we have more than corn in Indiana, but not much. Not one or two, but over a hundred visible from the highway. Oddly only two were moving, I'm assuming that the others are for additional capacity. For what it's worth the buzzing noise I've heard is associated with them was not noticeable from the highways, but the turbines certainly were. Are we running out of coal?

There are a lot of presidents who have made a lot of mistakes. Most of them with good intentions, some not. We now have a president who in policy and voice is exceptionally radical, and extremely inexperienced (having been in high public office for only about 4 years). We're embroiled in a health care debate which is threatening to split the country in half in a way not seen since the civil war.

As it now appears that you are spineless, and have too long taken the protection and aid of the United States, on which you depend for national defense, for granted, and indeed have bitten the very hand that feeds you, we have decided to revoke your missile defense shield. This means that Iran can attack you, but not us. Good luck with the Ayatollah, I hear he's a really reasonable guy once you convert, and may the last thing you see before you are incinerated in a manner befitting the movie Terminator 2 be the contrails of our missile defense system protecting us.

I'm hard working though. I've done the dishes and the laundry, swept the floors and now I'm relaxing watching your TV. I think I've earned the short break. You see I'm told I'm hard working, and just need a chance to have a job. I'm also a law-abiding citizen, except that I've broken into your house, done the chores you didn't want to do and now I'm sitting on your couch.

In another time when conservative meant oppression of those whose skin wasn't sufficiently white, and when lynchings were the status quo, three liberals came along and taught us a lesson about justice, and they taught it with a hammer.

It amazes me the similarities between trying to deal with Ciaran McCreesh and trying to organize a pick-up game of basketball. Both Ciaran's and my access have been suspended from bugs.gentoo.org by USERREL. Ostensibly I was blocked to be "fair", to Ciaran who has stated now that everyone who disagrees with him on PMS is a troll. I don't understand as yet which part of fair involves my being banned for stating that Ciaran should be more mature than this and demanding an apology, but perhaps USERREL will clarify that for you, or perhaps they'll just ban you from b.g.o as Ciaran seems to be a sore spot for them.
