Abolition of the death penalty is an odd thing. My objection has little to do with giving a damn about the jerk getting killed, it's just damned expensive. I don't however know the words to tell an e-mail list full of abolitionists that I don't want Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan executed, not because I give a damn about his life or his continued ability to live it, but because after the crime he committed killing him is too simple.

I still advocate simply tossing this guy in a soundproof room with a couple guys from SARE, a bucket of water and a towel, and some home videos of the people he killed for absolutely no reason. Birthday parties, graduations, proms, weddings. Liberals love to talk about how waterboarding is simulated drowning. The great part is that the person doesn't drown so you can do it over and over again, for years, until the lungs finally give out. And at that point, lets put him on the transplant list so we can do it some more.
